Our Story

The Tipping Point
Titus Crabb, Vertech founder and President After spending years in the soul-crushing work culture of traditional industrial automation companies, Titus Crabb, Vertech founder and now President, was fed up. He believed there must be a better way than the status quo.
The Vision

A place where employees are valued members of a thriving team, not just numbers on a spreadsheet. A place where ethics are the foundation of the company culture, not just another buzzword to bandy about.
The Foundation

In 2004, Vertech was born, ushering in a new era of workplace culture where integrity and innovation thrive hand in hand.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

Our company name, Vertech, is a blend of Truth (Veritas) and Technology (Tech). 

At Vertech, we’re on a quest for truth. Industrial automation is all about knowing your machines and having a system to convey and record the truth of your data. 

Our quest for truth isn’t just about our jobs as engineers, but a part of who we are as human beings.

When we value the truth, we show consistency between our beliefs, words, and actions. We do the right thing even when it’s hard. Truth is the foundation of integrity, and integrity is an essential part of our company culture.

Throughout any partnership, we’ll be your guide and mentor. Like Professor X, but less mind-controlly.

At Vertech, we're a bunch of evil geniuses.

Okay, we’re kidding. But we do value a unique blend of smarts and personality. Those lacking this dynamic duo tend to find themselves out of place here. We seek out folks who are not only passionate about their work but also bring that same energy to their personal pursuits (like tinkering with PLC equipment in their garages on weekends).
