What is the Vertech Turns 20 T-Shirt Design Contest?

Vertech turns 20 years old this year! One of the ways we're celebrating is by giving away free t-shirts to commemorate the event. We'd love our employees to have a say in the designs that will be printed on the shirts, and what better way to do that than by hosting a design contest!

Who can enter the contest?

Any Vertech employee or family and friends of Vertech employees. Kids are welcome to participate.

How do I enter the contest?

Upload your design files on the Contest Entry Form.

What are the requirements and specifications for designs?

Designs should be themed around Vertech Turning 20. Winning designs will be printed on the back of a t-shirt. So stick with high-resolution square or portrait formats. Stay away from low-resolution or landscape-oriented designs.

Maximum File Size = 20MB
Accepted File Types = .ai, .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, .svg
Minimum Resolution = 300ppi

Any other guidelines for designs?

Are there any free-to-use platforms that can be used to create designs?

Absolutely! We recommend Canva or Kittl. Both are free with registration and offer royalty-free templates and design elements.

What about hand-drawn designs?

Love 'em! You are welcome to submit hand-drawn designs provided you can upload them electronically via the entry form.

Can I enter multiple designs?

Yes! You are welcome to submit up to three (3) different designs to be entered in the contest.

When is the deadline to submit contest entries?

Contest entries may be submitted starting Friday, June 7, 2024 and ending at 11PM PST on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

How do I win the contest?

Designs will be voted on by Vertech employees. Designs with the most votes win!

When will you announce the winners?

Winners will be announced by July 19, 2024. We'll notify the winners individually through email. We'll also post the winners and their design on the Vertech LinkedIn page.

What are the contest prizes?

Vertech is awarding three (3) total prizes to winners of our T-Shirt Design Contest.

Grand Prize #1: Bragging rights plus a $100 Gift Card.

Runner Up Prize #2: Bragging rights plus a $50 Gift Card.

Runner Up Prize #3: Bragging rights plus a $50 Gift Card.

Official Contest Rules

1. Eligibility: All Vertech employees, their families, and their friends may participate in the Vertech Turns 20 T-Shirt Design Contest ("Contest"). Kids are welcome to participate.

2. Contest Entry Period: You can enter your t-shirts designs into the contest beginning on June 7, 2024 and ending on July 7, 2024 (“Entry Period”).

3. Contest Voting Period: Voting for t-shirt designs will begin on July 8, 2024 and end on July 17, 2024 (“Voting Period”).

4. How to Enter Designs: Enter your designs via the online form provided at https://www.vertech.com/20contest-entry during the Entry Period. Entries are limited to three designs per person. As a participant, your entry must fully meet all Contest design requirements in order to be eligible to win a prize. Designs must have a resolution of at least 300ppi. Design files should be no larger than 20MB each. Acceptable design file types are .ai, .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, or .svg. Entries that do not adhere to the Official Rules or specifications will be disqualified.

5. How to Vote: Vertech employees may cast their votes for the Contest by selecting their favorite designs via the online form provided at https://www.vertech.com/20contest-vote during the Voting Period.

6. Prizes: The Winners of the Contest (“Winner”) will receive one of the designated prizes. One Grand Prize winner will have their design featured on a t-shirt celebrating Vertech Turns 20 and will be awarded a $100 Gift Card. Two Runners Up winners will have their design featured on a t-shirt celebrating Vertech Turns 20 and will be awarded a $50 Gift Card.

7. Selection and Notification of Winner: The winning designs will be voted on by Vertech employees during the voting period. The designs with the most votes win. Vertech will notify the Winners via email by July 19, 2024. Winners and their designs will be published on Vertech's LinkedIn page.

8. Rights Granted by You: By participating in this Contest, You understand and agree that Vertech, any individual acting on Vertech’s behalf, have the right to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use in any media known now or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, worldwide, and without limitation, your submission, design, name, photo, portrait, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Contest, and your biographical information for news, publicity, advertising, promotional purposes, trade, information, and public relations without any further notice, review, consent, compensation, or remuneration.
